Murray Nature Center Fieldtrip - September 2017

Parent-Teacher Conferences & Fieldtrip

Just a couple of reminders:

Parent-Teacher Conferences are this week: Tuesday, September 26th and Wednesday, September 27th. Reminders were sent home last week with each student.

Our fieldtrip to the Murray Nature Reserve is Wednesday, September 27th. We will be leave at 11:00 am and return by 2:30 pm.

PE will be Thursday this week instead of Tuesday.

We have had a great start to our school year! The students are working hard and are learning so much. Math - We are learning the value of numbers, how to regroup when adding and subtracting, and next week we will begin multiplication.
Reading- We are learning so many things in reading. We have learned about sequencing, problem/ solution, and compare/contrast.

Reading logs were sent home yesterday- Tuesday, September 12th. The reading logs are due every Monday with parent initials. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Welcome Back to School!!!

Welcome to 4th Grade! School begins on Monday, August 21st at 8:35 am. I am super excited to be in 4th grade and get to meet you all soon. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!! Make sure to keep reading!!

Science Fair

Our school Science Fair will be Thursday, April 13th! The Science Fair will be in the school gym and classes are invited to walk through during the day. Our KUED Science Family Night is the same night from 6-7 pm. Bring your families for a fun science night, to see all your hard work in the science fair, and get a free book and a pizza dinner!!! See you all there!

End of 3rd Quarter

Just a reminder that the end of 3rd Quarter is Wednesday, March 22nd. All missing and make-up work needs to be turned in by Monday, March 20th!

Science Fair packets need to be also COMPLETE and turned in on Monday, March 20th. We will be putting the display boards together in class after spring break.
